Today, the college has 1650 students on its rolls. It is a co-educational institution. It has 1171 boys and 479 girl students. It has 80 members on the teaching staff of them 47 are Post Graduates, 19 hold M.Phil Degrees and 14 members have Doctoral Awards. The teachers have attended 13 Orientation Courses, 90 Refresher Courses, 8 Workshops and 21 Seminars. 47 papers were published by the staff in national journals and 11 papers were published in International Journals in addition to articles in reputed magazines and the college magazine.
Programme Options.

Admission Mechanism
The college is an Aided Institution governed by the rules and regulations of the Government. It has been scrupulously implementing the Quota system stipulated for various sections of the society.

Management
The Rotarians sponsored the college in 1962. Many prominent dignitaries of the town who are also members of the Rotary Club form the club of the management Committee of the college. There is a Governing Body besides Board of Directors. The Chairman, The Secretary and Correspondent, The Joint Secretary, The Treasurer and other members of the Executive monitor the administration of the college with the help of the Principal. The Management has been very helpful and benevolent because they have the best interests of the college at heart.
